00 an hour The Clinic Manager in Primary Care provides leadership and oversight to assigned areas.
The Clinic Manager is responsible for ensuring that department policies, procedures and workflows are effective and efficient to support the delivery of quality patient care.
Participate in the development of financial and/or operational goals and actively contribute to the achievement of assigned financial and/or operational goals.
Provide leadership and oversight of receptionist staff.
Ensure that the department is adequately staffed at all times.
Ensure that employees have adequate resources available.
Monitor employee performance.
Identify opportunities for improvement and/or professional development and facilitate coaching, counseling and training.
Collaborate with department leadership to ensure that the assigned areas are compliant with Health Plan, State and Federal regulations and assist with compliance audits.
Collaborate with providers within the assigned areas with maximizing coding efforts and achieving 5 Star Quality rating.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Bachelor's in health care administration, preferred.
Licensure:
Current California LVN license.
Experience:
5 years of clinical healthcare experience.
Experience:
2-3 years of leadership/supervisory experience, preferred.
Knowledge:
Knowledge of medical terminology Skills:
Ability to utilize Microsoft Word applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point etc.
) and computer software proficiently.
Skills:
Ability to effectively communicate with individuals within all levels of the organization, patients, patient family members and other.
Skills:
Detail oriented and well organized.
Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks to meet established deadlines.
BLS:
BLS required within 60 days of hire.
Driving:
Current California driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
