Position Description:
The Sidel Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining all plant equipment with an overall objective of increasing business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Maintains, troubleshoots and services all plant equipment.
Adheres to the plant preventive maintenance program as outlined in PICS and follows proper work order procedures.
Locates parts efficiently and effectively utilizing proper parts room checkout procedures.
Attends required training sessions to increase knowledge base.
Performs all assigned work in a safe manner, upholding Plastipak Environmental, Health and Safety Policy.
Performs rebuilds, product changeover on all plant equipment and verifies that processes are reliably operating to achieve plant measurables.
Involved in installation projects and/or modifications.
Responsible for maintaining ISO standards.
Responsible for reporting food safety issues to personnel with authority to initiate action.
Responsible for on-the-job training of other Associates.
Miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
