Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to The Don Kabob team.
The ideal candidate will have experience as a food worker, food server, Hospitality, Catering and related fields.
All applicants must have a valid Food handlers card from the county of San Bernardino.
This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic food service environment that serves delicious food.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and presentation.
Each applicant must have experience in cutting vegetables, preparing meats, and handling foods safely.
- Serve food and drinks to the customer.
- Maintain cleanliness of our food facililty.
- Cleaning dishes, trays, food equipment, sinks, and other items in the facility.
- Maintain personal Hygiene such as handwashing, wearing a hair net, and preventing cross-contamination and cross-contact) during food handling.
- Organization of dining areas.
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures including time temperature control of foods, storing food properly in the walk in coolers and freezers.
Keeping foods away from the temperature danger zone.
- Support catering events and banquets as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry, catering, or hospitality preferred.
- Fast in serving food.
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines.
Food handlers card is a must.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
