Production Specialist I (Temporary Assignment) Reports To:
Production Supervisor Job
Summary:
Visually inspects manufactured units for defects and packs and labels product according to Customer's specifications.
Ensures compliance with work instructions and standard operating procedures.
_ The position is a temporary assignment lasting approximately two (2) months, with the possibility of an extension should business needs require.
_ Essential Job Functions Visually inspects sheets for defects and notifies appropriate individuals immediately if any are found.
Follow required procedures to ensure customer orders are done correctly.
Verify work instructions.
Confirms packaging materials and signs off on documentation.
Applies label to bag/box.
Maintains the overall cleanliness of the workstation area.
Maintains good attendance in accordance with company guidelines.
Adheres to all company health and safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications Education:
High school diploma or equivalent training and/or experience.
Experience:
Entry Level Other skills and abilities required include:
Language skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
Ability to write simple correspondence in English.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but simple written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common diagram form.
Basic understanding of Quality methods, gauges, and procedures.
Physical/Mental Requirements Physical Demands Medium Work - Lifting of 50 pounds maximum While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk.
