High School graduate or equivalent required.
Some training (or equivalent experience) in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point is preferred.

Current or previous experience as a consumer of mental health services or as a family member/caregiver of a former or current mental health consumer.
Fluency in a second language preferred.
Valid California Drivers License How you will make a difference:
This position performs a wide variety of clerical tasks including duplicating, sorting and light typing.
Processes personnel documents and keeps personnel files current and complete at the direction of the HR Coordinator.
Sorts, dates, and logs mail, and acts as receptionist for the facility.
Handling extensive personal and confidential information is an essential job function of this position.
Division/Program Overview:
The Valley Star Crisis Walk-In Center (CWIC) is voluntary and offered on a 24/7 basis in an unlocked setting with a stay of up to 23 hours Rapid mental health assessment and crisis intervention All age groups - children, adolescents, adults, and older adults - who need immediate access to crisis mental health services.
The center provides important services to those in need of immediate crisis intervention and stabilization Individuals admitted into the crisis stabilization unit will be provided with support and services to ensure their safe transition to the next level of care or back to the community.
