Also, this is IN-PERSON position that requires to report to Victorville location EVERYDAY except business travels.
As a member of the leadership team, the Vice President oversees all aspects of business operations.
The primary duties will be to ensure the financial well-being of the company, the safety of all employees, and the strict adherence of local, state, and federal regulations.
The Vice President will be responsible for developing initiatives and business objectives to direct the company to become more efficient and profitable while creating a supportive workplace for our employees.
Collaborating with our other executives and managers is vital to instilling a cohesive vision.
The Vice President will directly report to the owners of the company and must uphold our company's values while leading it to financial success.
RESPONSIBILITIES Creates and fosters a corporate culture that emphasizes teamwork, cooperation, and problem solving, maximizing both employee & customer retention.
Develops business prospects by analyzing economic data/trends and revenue opportunities; projecting acquisition and expansion prospects; analyzing organization operations; identifying opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
Achieves established revenue, EBITA, and growth targets.
Reviews monthly financial reports to identify oversights and/or inconsistencies.
Ensures the company is staffed with well-trained, quality, and engaged employees at all times; works closely with the management team to develop effective hiring, training, and compensation plans to retain our quality talent; and leads and mentors' staff.
Conducts regular meetings with the leadership team as needed.
Ensures the leadership is apprised of ongoing initiatives, analytical data, and the overall business health.
Oversees brand development and the implementation of effective marketing strategies.
Represents company at important business functions, community events, industry training and events, and networking opportunities.
Ensures quality metrics are achieved through sound business processes following regulatory agency guidelines.
Effectively manages contract negotiations and statutory compliance.
Updates job knowledge by remaining aware of new regulations, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in business, accounting, finance, or a related field.
Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of proven experience as corporate executive management experience.
In-depth understanding of the oil & fuel industry including risk management, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
In-depth understanding of accounting principles including budgeting, balance sheets, income statements, cash flow, and capital planning management Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, PR, finance etc.
In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and public speaking skills Job Type:
